'Things are getting worse,' says Tawfiq Abu Hausa, spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of the Interior. 'Many of the weapons being used belong to the parties: to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Hamas or Fatah. There will be no proper authority in Gaza while these groups all hold their weapons.'
